The UK Prime Minister is expected to urge partner nations to supply Ukraine with more advanced missile systems to target Russian targets during talks in the UK capital on Friday.

Britain's leader will host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky alongside what's known as "group of committed partners", comprising more than 20 of supporting nations who have committed to provide Ukraine protection commitments once fighting stops is arranged.

Zelensky has been urging for several weeks for further advanced missile technology from the West, a move that Moscow has stated would intensify the war.

The Ukrainian president is coming from Belgium, where he conferred with European representatives on Thursday seeking funding aid.
